Non profit Organization
Question:
What do you mean by "non profit organization"?
I understand:
Comprehension, fraternity, solidarity, tolerance.
Which
kind of concept is defined by non profit?
If you
stay on your own area, that 'll be easier to control who can join you or
not to help you to develop your concept. But if you live downtown, if you
work in a company who just wants to do profits, the rules are different.
Answer:
'FalconBlanco'
is not a concept. It is the result of a growing process of about thirty
years of this place, not counting the thirty years before, which belonged
to my personal growth... When it is a 'result' then this means that 'non
profit' is lived and being practiced in our every days life. Yes, it must
be expressed also in words for those who need a concept and then maybe
want to follow, trying to live it, because it feels somehow right, or at
least better as what they live now and what is offered by society and they
have had their experience long enough to know that it doesn't really work
for them...
If you
look at the dictionary then you can read: Charity = generosity,
alms-giving, munificence, liberality, open-handedness, magnanimity, beneficence,
philanthropic, unselfishness, humanity, humanitarianism, good will, big-heartedness.
Looking
at the words, you might understand these as 'concepts', but it is pretty
clear that for example 'big-heartedness' will not be a concept or self
image for someone who has a closed heart and sits on his money. So somehow
it must go together at least with one's self image even there is little
or nothing realized.
Now
back to 'FalconBlanco': Non profit or charity means that whatever we do,
we don't do it for any materialistic reason. We are responding to what
shows up in our daily life and we relate and respond to it, because we
believe that by taking self responsibility, that then each situation we
encounter, is a challenge. Doing this for now quite some time, the experience
told us, that by freely giving, one receives a reward which goes far beyond.
This is something which is widely unknown, especially in a society where
nearly every thing turns around money and to receive this one has to work
hard, be very clever or use all kind of tricks or manipulations. So it
is clear that for every thing one gives, one ask for a payment or a service
for exchange. The common rule is to give as little as possible for as much
as possible.
Who
has the power is using it to force the other to get more profit. Pretty
silly. I can observer it here at the supermarket who changed the owner
and now the worker have to work longer for less money. The atmosphere has
change incredible. Before all were friendly and behaved like friends to
each other, now it is like a dark cloud hanging all over. The worker are
angry what for sure will reflect in their behavior to the clients, they
will work with resistance and probably will steal what ever they can, etc...
If there
is given something for free, for example in the Internet, then mostly this
is connected with a hook, or at least there is expected a donation or some
other kind of reward.
Whatever
we do here at FalconBlanco, we don't expect a reward of any kind. We do
it because we receive what we need and the surplus we can freely give away
to someone who can use it.
Now
this is something most people don't understand, but we are telling them
that they might want to support the 'non profit idea' by doing the same
with things or their help if some body else can use it or is in need of
it.
